Archive Master
SharePoint storage is the most expensive place to keep a file nobody opens. Archive Master copies cold files out to Azure Blob Storage in your own subscription and leaves a working link behind, so the library still looks and behaves like the library.

Seeing "Your SharePoint utilization is over your quota"?
This banner means the tenant is using more SharePoint storage than its pooled allowance, which is 1 TB plus 10 GB for each licence. After the date it names, SharePoint content becomes read-only. Microsoft gives two ways out: purchase a license (more storage), or manage storage until usage is back under the quota.
Archive Master is the manage storage route that keeps every file. Cold files move to Azure Blob Storage in your own subscription, which costs far less per GB, and each one leaves a working link in the library that downloads or restores the original.
- Run the Archive Savings Report first. It needs no Azure setup and shows how much storage the files you pick take up, before anything changes
- Tick Recycle previous file versions if the goal is getting under quota. Without it, version history stays behind on the placeholder and keeps using storage
- Empty the recycle bin afterwards. Anything recycled still counts against the quota until the bin is emptied, and ShareMaster's Recycling Bin tool can purge it in bulk
- Start well before the read-only date. The space only comes back once the files are archived and the bin is empty

Can Clone Master migrate Dropbox, or copy SharePoint to Azure Blob Storage?
Yes, in ShareMaster V2. Dropbox to SharePoint brings a Dropbox account or a whole Dropbox team into SharePoint libraries through Microsoft's Migration API. SharePoint to Azure Blob copies libraries, folders or files into a container you own, recording each file's dates and authors on the blob, and Azure Blob to SharePoint copies them back. Both are included with Clone Master; SharePoint to Azure Blob is also included with Archive Master.
Can ShareMaster migrate Office 365 mailboxes or export them to PST?
Yes, in ShareMaster V2, with a Clone Master licence or the trial. It exports Office 365 mailboxes to .pst files, your own without admin rights or the whole tenant with an administrator's consent; copies mailboxes, shared mailboxes and online archives from one tenant to another; and imports PST files or mail from an IMAP or POP3 server into Office 365. It moves mail and folders only, not calendars or contacts, and the PST routes need desktop Outlook installed.

Clicking the placeholder either downloads the original or restores it back into the library, and the person clicking is authenticated first, so nobody reaches a file they could not already open. SharePoint says my utilization is over quota and content will become read-only. What can I do?
