Archive Master
SharePoint storage is the most expensive place to keep a file nobody opens. Archive Master copies cold files out to Azure Blob Storage in your own subscription and leaves a working link behind, so the library still looks and behaves like the library.

The library item keeps its ID, version history, metadata, people columns and unique permissions. Clicking the placeholder either downloads the original or restores it back into the library, and the person clicking is authenticated first, so nobody reaches a file they could not already open.
