The List Copy Settings feature encompasses the following critical functionalities:

1. Copy Views: This function facilitates the comprehensive replication of all views associated with a list or library.

2. Create Lookup Lists: When dealing with lists or libraries containing lookup columns, this function verifies the existence of the associated lookup list. If the lookup list is absent, it is created as needed.

3. Fill Lookup Lists: Upon the successful creation of a lookup list, this function efficiently imports all items from the source site to the destination site, ensuring data consistency before initiating the list import process.

4. Delete Destination List: In the process of creating the list or library, an essential check is performed to identify any pre-existing fields on the destination list that are not present in the source. If such fields are found, they are systematically removed. It is essential to exercise caution when implementing this operation, as it carries inherent risks. Deleting fields may result in the permanent loss of data stored in those fields within the destination site. Recovery from the recycling bin will not be possible.
